Will this mount on my 6 in. deck post flat against the post- without having to cut into the post on the back?
How do you open the 16801MZ fixture to mount or change light bulbs?

The Hinkley Lighting Round Eyebrow 1 Light Deck 16801MZ has a twist-lock to attach or remove the faceplate. To remove the faceplate you need to twist it counter-clockwise and then pull it off.

I need 8 fixtures and transformer 150 watts. Will these at 20 watts each still light but less brightly?

No. Since the Hinkley Lighting Round Eyebrow 1 Light Deck 16801MZ are 20W fixtures, 8 of these together adds up to 160W which will exceed the maximum wattage of a 150W transformer. The lowest wattage Hinkley landscape transformer that will work with 8 of these fixtures is the 0300SS 300W Transformer. Hinkley Lighting do not have a 200W Landscape Transformer.
