Hivo Van Teal began the company creating acrylic sculptures. As more and more people wanted to own a Van Teal original the idea of making it functional, as lighting, took hold.

Van Teal began, then, as art, not a commodity and continues to create original works of art. Our affinity with acrylic comes from being the first to use it and understand its powers. Van Teal is always the innovator, never the imitator and it shows in the freshness of our design and the craftsmanship quality of our product.
