Meets NEC 411 low voltage directive. Auto-reset feature automatically cycles the transformer in a safe diagnostic mode until the short circuit is remedied. Soft start feature gradually applies voltage on cold lamps to extend lamp life. Unique short circuit protection from both normal and abnormal short circuits. Extended short circuit protection for a minimum of 8 hours under the duress of a short circuit. Diagnostic features communicate the likely source of the installation problem. Class 2 transformers are intrinsically safe by limiting secondary currents to 5 Amperes per circuit. WAC Lighting manufactures electronic transformers from 60 watts to 300 watts. Generally will work with incandescent dimmers but, electronic low voltage dimmers are recommended for best performance.br
