I'm interested in the Freeport 1 Light. The length is 17 inches. I'm trying to figure out where this will fit on my wall. Can you tell me how much hangs below the point where the fixture attaches to the wall? Can this fixture take an incandescent bulb?
The Kichler Freeport 1 Light Fluorescent Sconce 10686PN has a HCWO (Height from Center of Wall Opening) of 4.5", which means that the measurement from the mounting screws to the bottom of the fixture is 12.5". This fixture can only use a fluorescent GU24 Bi-Pin bulb, it cannot use incandescent bulbs.
Is a 13w bulb going to even put out much light? is there any option for bulb?
For the Kichler Freeport 1 Light Fluorescent Sconce 10686PN: A 13W CFL bulb is equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb. This fixture is designed to use GU24 Bi-Pin base CFL bulbs. LED GU24 bulbs are available but they have never been tested in this fixture.
