|Q||My contractor installed the lights upside down, is this ok? Also, the light "bulbs" included in the package become very very HOT--is this normal? What I want is a dimmable bulb, what should I buy?|
|A||Since the Hinkley Lighting Taylor 3 Light Bath Vanity 5023BN uses G9 Halogen bulbs, Hinkley Lighting only recommends installing this fixture facing up. G9 Halogen bulbs do get very hot, which is normal. If the fixture is installed facing down, the heat will build up under the glass and may cause damage to the glass or fixture. When installed facing up, the heat from the bulbs will rise up and away from the fixture. G9 Halogen bulbs are dimmable using a standard wall dimmer.|
|Q||I read on another site that the 5023 could be hung either up or down, could you please verify?|
