B2B MARKETING SPECIALIST

We have a small, tightly knit, ambitious and very busy Marketing team; As such, we are looking for a candidate who’s adventurous, self-motivated and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Because of the rapid growth of our company, we need someone who is a proactive self-starter and independent thinker with the ability to be creative, flexible, and detail-oriented under daily deadlines with multiple projects.
Responsibilities of this position include:
  • The direct marketing and administration of our Business to Business marketing efforts.
  • Developing strategies to increase our Professional (interior designers, builders, contractors, etc.) customers and to grow a community of loyal brand advocates.
  • You are able to measure the success of your marketing campaigns.
  • You will be coordinating and collaborating with other Marketing Teams & Sales Team members regarding campaign content, digital and print graphics so great communication skills are needed for this position.
The successful candidate will:
  • 2 Years of Direct Marketing Experience preferred but not necessary.
  • You are experienced in Business to Business Marketing, Print, and Email Marketing.
  • Excellent grasp of email marketing tools and how to effectively harness them to increase business efficiencies, sales activity, and employee engagement
  • Track, measure, & analyze all initiatives & report ROI.
  • Ability to learn and follow metric-driven continuous improvement techniques, including message segmentation and A/B testing.
  • You have experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communicator & creative thinker, with an ability to use both data & intuition to inform decisions
  • You’re able, and excited, to see a project through from ideation to final execution while incorporating feedback creatively.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, coupled with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are required.
  • Must be an enthusiastic self-starter, responsive to instruction and eager to learn more while having a knack for being innovative and inquisitive, while remaining practical and decisive
  • Proficient learning and using many different software systems and computer programs
  • Exceptional written communication skills with an emphasis on grammar and copywriting and the ability to adapt messages by audience and desired outcome.

As a Social Media Manager at Lighting New York you will work to build, grow & manage our LNY social community by implementing a content & social strategy designed to grow followers, engage & retain them & help to convert them into leads while boosting LNY’s SEO.

The right candidate should have command of best practices & trends in social media marketing & understand how to both build & convert a digital audience.

You will share teach, discuss, entertain, motivate & drive performance of multiple online communities, monitor conversions & look for opportunities to increase brand recognition.
Responsibilities of this position include:
  • Build & manage the social media profiles of our clients, including:
  • Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Google+ & additional channels that may be relevant.
  • Create compelling, strategic & shareable content.
  • Monitor & engage.
  • Run regular promotions & track their success (e.g. Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, Twitter chats, discussions, etc.)
  • Alongside the other members of the Marketing Department, develop a content & social strategy to be distributed among all other avenues of the Marketing Department that educates & entertains to achieve overall marketing goals.

  • Active & well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network & their best practices.
  • Be proficient in using social media software to monitor social media conversations.
  • Bonus experience & skills include: Google Adwords, Adobe Creative Suite, inbound marketing, & blogging.

  • Have a high-energy personality with a positive attitude
  • You have experience working with cross-functional teams.

  • You have a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience & have 2-3 years social media experience (preferred but not necessary)
  • You are experienced with social media advertising & analytics.
